Hide Preparation Services offered:

• Fleshing- this is preparing the hide for tanning by removing all the flesh and membrane from the hide.
• Split & Turn- this is preparing the head area for tanning by removing the flesh from the lips, eye area, nose area, turning the ears inside out, and fleshing the facial area.
• Skinning an entire animal for:
• *Full body mounting purposes (let me know what type of mount it will be and where the skinning incision will be made.
• *Flat skinned tanning or rug making (animal will be skinned to your requirements)
• Finish skinning- this includes removal of feet or head or any other part left in the hide when it was removed in the field.
• Salting hide- do not salt hide before bringing it in, this is one step that will be done in the shop.
